ATLANTA CUP - U12 Girls BLUE - CHAMPIONS
The First Coast Academy 98/99 Girls BLUE travelled to Atlanta Cup on Labor Day Weekend and played in the CUP DIVISION of the tournament. They started out with 2 ties on Saturday but rallied on Sunday to a convincing 3-0 won over Palmetto United Girls Gold. This put them into the semi-finals where they beat Roswell Santos Blue and into the finals in the afternoon. The girls played FC America Premier in the finals 4-0 to take the championship. We look forward to a great year for the U12 girls BLUE!
ATLANTA CUP - U11 Boys BLUE - CHAMPIONS
The First Coast Academy U11 boys BLUE travelled to the Atlanta Cup Tournament on Labor Day weekend. They had 2 very strong games against CFC Chiefs Gold (GA) and LSA Sharks Gold (GA). Sunday they tied a tough Georgia FC Black team but with their 1st 2 game points, won their bracket and advanced to the semi-finals. They played the CFK Black (FL) team and came out on top 2-1. This put them in the finals where they played the LSA Sharks in a re-match of pool play. The game was tied at the end of regulation but the First Coast U11 boys BLUE pulled out the win in overtime - way to go team!
ATLANTA CUP - U10 Girls BLUE - FINALISTS
The First Coast Academy U10 girls BLUE made their first trip to Atlanta Cup. They beat the Cherokee Impact Gold (GA), Cobb FC (GA) and tied the Atlanta Fire Gold (GA) to win their bracket. The semis were against the Lanier Sharks with First Coast winning the game. This put them in the finals against rivals Ponte Vedra U10 girls, who they had beaten in the Disney Showcase. It was an exciting and close game with the First Coast team taking home the FINALISTS trophy. We look forward to watching this team develop this year - way to go First Coast Girls!!
ATLANTA CUP - U11 Girls BLUE - SEMI-FINALISTS
The First Coast Academy U11 girls BLUE made their first trip to Atlanta Cup and played in the Cup Division. They won all 3 games in their group beating Cobb FC (GA), ERSA Express Red (GA) and Strikers Blue East (GA) to win their group. The semi-finals were against #1 ranked West Pines (FL) and it was a close game with FCSA losing 2-0. It was a great experience and a strong start to the season!
LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT - U12 Girls White - CHAMPIONS
The First Coast Academy U12 girls white team started with a great tournament championship in the Labor Day Shootout. They beat teams from Savannah Celtic, Westside, Clay County and played our own U12 girls red team in the finalist - congratulations ladies!
LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT - U10 Boys BLUE - CHAMPIONS
The First Coast Academy U10 boys Blue were the team to beat in the Labor Day Shootout. They won their games against CFC Red Star from Georgia, Savannah Celtic and our own First Coast Academy White team. THis put the into the finals against JYS with the First Coast Blue team coming out on top. The team scored 26 goals with none against - we look forward to an exciting season!
LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT - U10 Girls WHITE - CHAMPIONS
The First Coast Academy U10 girls WHITE team is a team that can play soccer. They played in the gold division of the U10 girls tournament and were the team to beat. They beat the Savannah Celtic team, lost a close game to the CGSA Shockers then came back on Sunday and won their 2 games against Tallahassee and a final strong win against JYS. It was great for them to get in 4 good games and a strong start to their season.
LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT - U10 Boys RED - CHAMPIONS
The First Coast Academy U10 boys Red started their season with a tournament win on Labor Day weekend in an exciting 28 PK finish in the finals. The team played the Arlington Adrenaline, Savannah Celtic and JYS teams to advance to the finals. The game against Savannah ended in a tie which meant penalty kicks. After 28 PK’s and an exhausted group of fans, the First Coast team came out on top - what an exciting win!

The U12 girls Red team were finalists at the Labor Day Shootout. They lost a tough first game but rallied back to win their next 2 games against Westside and Savannah Celtics to play our own white team in the finals - go First Coast Girls!
LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT - U11 Boys WHITE - FINALISTS
The U11 boys white team started the tournament with a good win over the Creeks white team and followed with another strong win over the First Coast Red team. Sunday, they beat the JYS team which put them into the finals against a strong Clay County team. It was a great start to the season with 3 strong wins and a finalist ending to the tournament - keep it up boys
LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT - U9 Boys BLUE - FINALISTS
The First Coast Academy U9 boys blue played their first tournament on Labor Day. They started strong with wins over JYS and the Savannah Rovers. Sunday, they played the Academy white team with a close game ending in a win in PK’s. This put them into the finals where they lost in a heartbreaker in PK’s. It was a great start to the season!
LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT - U9 Boys RED - FINALISTS
The First Coast Academy U9 boys red played their first tournament on Labor Day. They started with a win over JYS then a loss to the Savannah Celtic team. Sunday they needed to win to get to the finals and they had a strong game against the Arlington Adrenaline. The finals was a repeat against the Savannah team who won in a close game. Congratulations on a great start to the season.

The U9 girls blue played in their first tournament beating the JYS white team and Savannah Celtic to get to the finals. It was a repeat against the JYS Green team who they played earlier in the day with much improvement in the final score. Keep up the hard work girls!
LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT - U12 Boys WHITE - FINALISTS
The First Coast Academy U12 boys white team played in the gold division of Labor Day Shootout. They started strong with a win against Creeks but faced a strong CFC Red Star team from Georgia. The team played the top Creeks team in the semis but were not able to advance to the finals. The team has a lot to look forward to this season - keep working hard!
BREVARD HURRICANE CLASSIC - U10 Girls BLUE - CHAMPION
The First Coast Academy U10 Girls Blue played in the Central Brevard Hurricane Classic in the U11 group playing 8v8 for the first time. They won their first 3 games against Melbourne Beach, Titusville and South Miami. This put them into the finals against the host team South Brevard winning 5-2 and taking the championship - it was a great start to the season!
