FCSA Player Programs – 2008-2009
MAIN PROGRAMS
RECREATIONAL PROGRAM
The mission of the recreational program is to create an environment where every recreational player
enjoys a soccer experience so rewarding he/she voluntarily seeks opportunities to participate in Club
programs throughout the year and returns to the Club the following season.
AGE GROUPS – U5- U19 ( U5 players must be 4 years old by July 31, 2008)
SEASON – Fall 2008 – U5-U14 - Sept. 6, 2008- November 1, 2008
U15-U19 – August 16, 2008- early October, 2008 (tentative)
Spring 2009 (all age groups) – early March, 2009 – mid-May, 2009
Play one season or both.
COST – U5-U8 - $90 per season, uniform additional $25 if needed (uniforms are re-used
each year).
- U9-U19 - $100 per season, uniform additional $25 if needed
Registration deadline – July 31, 2008 for fall, January 31, 2009 for spring.

ACADEMY PROGRAM
The mission of the academy program is to provide quality programs that provide age-appropriate
technical and tactical training in a positive learning environment.
Academy is divided into travel academy (U9-U12) and developmental academy
(U7-U10).
U9-U12 TRAVEL ACADEMY
For experienced players wanting to play on travel teams.
Teams are tiered (blue, white, red) based on developmental level.
Multiple teams will be formed for each age group depending on numbers.
Players interested in this option must attend tryouts in MAY for fall teams.

AGE GROUPS – U9-U12
SEASON – Fall 2008 – August 18-November 7, 2008
- Spring 2009 – mid-February – mid-May, 2009
- 1 year commitment to the program
COST – U9,10 travel academy - $225/season, $450 per year
U11, 12 travel academy - $275/season, $550 per year
Uniform additional $25 if needed
U9,10 DEVELOPMENTAL ACADEMY PROGRAM
Players practice twice a week with the club training staff in a program designed for the developmental
level of the players. 12 week program.
They play on an academy teams (academy players do not play on a recreational team).

U7,8 DEVELOPMENTAL ACADEMY PROGRAM
Players practice twice a week with the club training staff in a program designed for the developmental
level of the players. 12 week program.
They play on an academy teams (academy players do not play on a recreational team).

COST – $180/season, uniform additional $25 if needed

KYX PROGRAM
The mission of the KYX program is to offer players who have demonstrated the ability and commitment
to play at the highest level, the advanced training and competitive playing required to compete
successfully regionally, statewide and potentially at a national level.
Players must attend KYX tryouts in May 2008 in order to be placed on teams for ’08-’09 seasons. One
year commitment to the program.
AGE GROUPS – U13-U19
SEASON – varies by age group – fall and spring

U5-U8 DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM
Players must be registered in the recreational program and can choose this as an additional program.
Players stay on their recreational teams and attend an additional day of practice with the club training
staff. 6 week program.
AGE GROUPS – U5-U8 players
DATES – Fall 2008 – Sept. 17, 2008 – October 22, 2008
Spring 2009 – mid-March- end April 2009
COST - $70 per session, includes FREE Developmental t-shirt.
U9-U12 Academy training only
Stay on your recreational team and train once a week with academy trainers. 10 weeks per season.
AGES – U9-U12 players.
DATES – Fall 2008 – Sept. 2 – Oct 20, 2008
Spring 2009 – early March – mid-May, 2009
COST - $100 per season in addition to recreational fees
Fall SKILLS and 4v4 PROGRAM
Attend skills training followed by 4v4 games (3v3 for U5, 6). 4 week program
AGES – U5-U8 (Mondays), U9-U14 (Tuesdays)
WHEN
MONDAYS – U5-U8 – mid-November to mid-December, 2008
TUESDAYS – U9-U14 – mid-November to mid-December, 2008
5:30-6:15 – SKILLS – focus on foot skills, dribbling, taking on players 1v1
6:15-7:30 – 3v3 and 4v4 – players play the game and incorporate new skills
into the game, lots of touches on the ball, develop confidence with the ball.
COST - $70

Winter SKILLS and 4v4 PROGRAM
Attend skills training followed by 4v4 games (3v3 for U5, 6). 4 week program

Attend beginner 3v3 clinics OR Advanced 3v3 clinics.
Beginner clinics – ages U6-U12 – learn the rules, find out about tournaments, form teams
for summer play.
Advanced clinics – ages U8-U12 – learn more of the strategy of the 3v3 game.
MAY, 2008 – information will be sent to all members with dates.
SUMMER 3v3
Play 3v3 in a fun format of multiple games with different players. 4 week program.
AGES – U6-U14
WHEN – mid-July – mid-August, 2008
COST - $40
