REASON FOR INTEREST: I have 2 children who have been in the recreational and advanced programs, and I have served on the FCSA Board in various leadership positions since 2003. The Board over this period has implemented many positive change initiatives, and I would like to continue to serve the membership and keep FCSA moving in the right direction for all members—Recreation, Academy and Advanced players and families.

2003-2005-At-Large member and served as chair of Referee Committee and member
of Patton Park Committee; 2005-2006, served as VP FCSA and FCSA Secretary,
continued to serve as chair of Referee Committee and member Patton Park
Committee, 2006-07, served as VP Patton Park, continued to serve as Chair of
Patton Park Committee and Referee Committee.

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THAT YOU FEEL WOULD BE BENEFICIAL:
In addition to
serving on the Board of Directors during this period, I also volunteered to
serve as FCSA’s Tournament Director for the annual
First Coast Labor Day Shootout Tournament.
As Director of the event for the last 3 years, we have brought in an
additional revenue stream to FCSA in excess of $50,000.00. This money goes directly back to help
support all of FCSA’s programs. For example, in 2007-08, the Academy budget
was supplemented approximately $15,000.00 with money earned from the Labor Day
Tournament to assist in their budget.
