RECREATIONAL SOCCER - General
Recreational soccer is for players who want to play and enjoy the game of soccer.
FOR WHO? 4 years old to 19 years old - boys and girls.
Note – it is a state rule that players must be 4 years old by July 31 of the fall season they want to play. See separate menu for “AGE GROUPS”.
RECREATIONAL SOCCER – specifics
The recreational program offers something for all ages. Number of players on the field, field size, goal size and ball size are all set so that players get a lot of opportunity to touch the ball.

U7-U8 – play 4 vs. 4, no goalies |
| U9-U10 - play 6 vs. 6, with goalies |
U11-U12 – play 8 vs. 8 |
| U13- U16 - play 11 vs. 11 |
U19 – play 7 vs 7 |
COST –
U5-U8 - $90 per season
U9-U19 - $100 per season
WHEN
TWO SEASONS – spring (March to May) and fall (August to November) – play one or both seasons. Note – high school players end their season before high school season.
PRACTICES – once a week at various locations depending on team.
GAMES – 8 games minimum. U5-U12 teams play all games on Saturdays at Patton Park against other FCSA teams. U14-U19 teams play in the Northeast Florida Soccer League. Games are Saturday or Sunday – ½ of the games are home, ½ are at clubs in the league.
REGISTRATION DEADLINES
For spring season – January 31 – returning players will be placed on their fall teams if they register by January 1.
For fall season – July 31 – returning players will be placed on their fall teams if they register by July 1.
Late fee - $25 after last date – registrations taken on space-available basis only
OTHER PROGRAMS
There are numerous off-season programs to choose from – skills & 4v4 in fall and winter, fitness program in fall and winter, 3v3 program, summer camps.
