Jacksonville, FL - Multiple sites will be utilized throughout the First Coast area.
The host site will be at the Patton Park  Complex now with 7 lighted full-sized and 2
junior sized fields located just minutes from the Jacksonville Beaches.

Age Groups:
Boys and Girls U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U18 and U19.
The tournament committee reserves the right to combine age groups if a small number of applicants are received for a
particular age group. Teams will be allowed a maximum of three guest players in ages U-10 to U-12 and up to 5 guest
players in ages U-13 and above.

Registration/Team Check-In:
You may register on-line or by mail.  Team check-in is Friday, August 29th, 6:00 PM - 10:00 pm @ Patton Park Complex,
2850 Hodges Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32224.  

Competition:
The tournament is open to club and select teams.  Each participating team will play a minimum of three games and be
allowed a maximum of 3 guest players for U10 to U12 and 5 guest players U13 and above.  Teams U13 and older may
roster up to 18 players. In accordance with USYSA rules U11 and U12 will play with eight players per side with a maximum
roster of 14 players. U9 and U10 teams will play with six players per side with a maximum roster of 11 players.
FCLDS will follow USYSA Rules regarding travel, officials, and play.

Teams accepted to play are required to provide the following at registration:

1.   Permission to travel forms (for teams outside Florida)

2.    One typed and signed original and three copies of the team tournament roster

3.    A notarized original and copy of the medical release form for each player and

4.    Current USYSA, US Club or affiliate validated player passes.  

Duration of games will be in accordance to USYSA guidelines with exception of the following:  U-15/16/17/18/19 will play
35 minute halves in pool play.  All semifinals (if scheduled) and finals will be per USYSA guidelines.

Fees, Deadline and Discounts:
U-10 - $300, U11- U12-$350, U13- U16-$400, U17 and above - $450.  The following discounts are being provided:  $25 off
for returning team from 2007 event, $25 off for early application received by July 1st, and $25 dollar discount per team if
club brings 3 or more teams.    Applications are considered complete upon receipt of payment.  Checks should be payable
to First Coast Labor Day Shootout.  The tournament fee is non-refundable after team acceptance by the tournament
committee.  The deadline for submitting registration applications is August 9, 2008.

Acceptance notice will be sent and posted to the web site within ten days of the deadline date.  Refunds will not be given
for games canceled or revised due to inclement weather.

Coaches Meeting:
There will be NO coaches meeting. Each participating team must have a representative present at team check-in on Friday
August 29th.
