The First Coast Soccer Association (FCSA) currently sponsors 17 girls and 19 boys select soccer teams. Teams are made up of players wishing to receive advanced soccer training and participate in more exciting competition. Through participation in these teams, players are improving their individual and team soccer skills. These players compete in local, regional and national tournaments, become eligible for the state, regional and national Olympic Development Programs (ODP), and improve their opportunities to play for their middle school, high school and college soccer teams.
The FCSA welcomes families committed to the following:
- Practice sessions twice per week (1 1/2 hours each).
- Year-long commitment.
- Travel to tournaments (more travel in the older age levels).
- Matches 3-4 times per month.
Each player will be asked to attend Two - Three try-out sessions at Patton Park. Initial try-outs will be held by age level. The girls and boys try-outs will be held separately. During each session experienced coaches in a positive environment will evaluate the players in order to determine if the player’s skills are appropriate for a select team environment.
In the event of inclement weather you can check to see if the fields are open by checking the field status on the website.
