A.  Each team is given 2 practices a week (1 ½ hours each) to practice at Patton Park.  The coach along with the Director of Coaching will work together to pick practice days and times. Practice days and times can vary from fall season to spring season.

Q.  How much travel is involved in select soccer?
A.  The travel commitment varies from age to age and team to team.  The reason teams travel is the pursuit of competition. (with the exception of older teams who are trying to be "seen" by college coaches by attending college showcases) The younger teams in the club can generally find plenty of competition around the middle of Florida without staying overnight. They generally participate in a Travel league providing them with games in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Orlando etc. There are 4-5 local tournaments to participate in each season as well.  As teams mature, they will often go out of town overnight in order to challenge themselves by playing teams from other cities and States.

Q.  What day(s) on the weekend does a select team typically play?
A.  If playing a “friendly” or “Travel game” with other teams in the area, Saturday is the predominant day that these games are played.  If playing in a tournament, you may have Friday night games plus games on Saturday and Sunday.

Q. Who will decide the coaches of each team?
A. The Director of Coaching along with the Executive Board.

Q. What if our coach leaves, who will fine our team another coach?
A. The Director of Coaching along with the Executive Board.
