Sue Hofman is currently the Director of Coaching of the Academy Program for First Coast Soccer Association. As DOC, her roles and responsibilities are to oversee the activities and development of FCSA academy trainers, coaches and players. She will strive to develop, maintain and operate high quality coach and player development programs that will achieve First Coast Soccer Association’s short-term goals and long-term vision. The mission of the academy program is to offer age-appropriate technical and tactical training in a positive learning environment that will allow players to reach their goals. In addition, the D.O.C is responsible for all aspects of academy soccer operations within the club. The D.O.C will also act as an ambassador for the club and the game of soccer within the local school districts and the Jacksonville soccer community.
Sue’s experience includes over 25 years of playing, coaching and administrative experience. Since she has taken over the academy program in 2007, the program has grown nearly 40 percent to include 21 travel academy teams and a full developmental program.
