Only a few days left before the US Men’s National Team faces off against Scotland and the excitement is building at Patton Park!  Twenty two lucky recreational, academy and KYX players(see group picture below) were selected to represent our club as Player Escorts by random draw at Member Appreciation Day May 5^th and received their tickets on Friday, May 10^th.  The stories are varied, but the sentiment is all the same – EXCITEMENT for being chosen for this once in a lifetime opportunity.  There’s the player whose Dad was a player escort in his native country of Columbia when he was a child, the player who was stunned to find out both he and his cousin were going to be escorts, and the players who didn’t even know there was a match coming up, but now can’t wait to be part of the excitement.  We know they will represent First Coast well on Saturday May 26^th.
